DISCOVERY THE NORTH VIETNAM

Discover one of the most beautiful and untouched regions in Northeast Vietnam, touch the landmark in the roof of Indochina – Fansipang peak, visit vibrant and colourful local market and explore a beautiful natural lake located in Ba Be National Park in the red silk cotton flower season

DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN HANOI
Arrive in Ha Noi by flight. Transfer to hotel. Overnight in Ha Noi.
 
DAY 2: HANOI – DUONG LAM ANCIENT – NGHIA LO
In the morning, transfer to Duong Lam village - purely agricultural village where still preserve many hundred-year-old houses. Upon arrival, bike along tiny ancient alleys to visit Mong Phu temple. Continue riding around the village to discover the daily life and farming working of Vietnamese peasants, visit Ngo Quyen temple and Phung Hung temple, places dedicated to two national heroes Ngo Quyen and Phung Hung, visit Mia Pagoda – which is built in 15 th century and admire 287 statues of all sizes, among with are famous sculpture such as the statue of Buddha. Transfer to Nghia Lo. Overnight in Nghia Lo
 
DAY 3: NGHIA LO – TU LE - MU CANG CHAI
After breakfast, we transfer from Nghia Lo to Tu Le. The road ride today takes only 2 hours so we have a lot of time exploring the area for real mountainous life of the local ethnic minority people. Fancy trekking along a trail which connect villages to villages, meeting different tribal people such as White Thai, Black Zao, Red H’mong…who seem very friendly and inviting you to their homes in which you will be hosted with tea or home made wine. Next to Mu Cang Chai. Overnight in Mu Cang Chai.
 
DAY 4: MU CANG CHAI – SAPA
A wonderful morning starts with breakfast and a cup of tea or coffee in the paradise of rice terraces. Depart to visit terraced fields are recorded as national heritage. We will go about 7km to reach the point of trekking, all the beautiful things of Mu Cang Chai are waiting for you at the top. After climbing, we will go through the H’mong village where you will meet innocent children, hardworking women. Continue on the trail until you see the whole terraced fields that have been recorede as national heritage. Drive to Sapa and visit the picturesque of Silver Waterfall, Stone Church on the way. Overnight in Sapa
 
DAY 5: SAPA – BAC HA
After breakfast take you to Cable Car Station, take about 20-30 minutes to climb 600 steps and spend 20 minutes with cable car to enjoy the spectacular scenery instead of 3 days climbing to reach the peak the top of Fansipan peak, and touch the landmark in the roof of Indochina. Beside the Fansipan peak, also visit the beautiful Fansipan Legend with Bamboo Garden, Bich Van Thien Tu, restaurant, shopping center, etc… Come back to Cable Car Station and return to Sapa town. 
 
After lunch, visit Ta Gian Phin village where you can enjoy fresh air, amazing scenery of terraced rice fields, and discovery the life of these ethnic minorities. Then transfer by car to Bac Ha. Overnight in homestay Bac Ha.
 
DAY 6: BAC HA – HA GIANG
Morning visit Bac Ha market. This is a big market with its entire colorful ethnic people such as H’mong, Phu La, Dao who gather here to buy and sell their handcraft products. Then, the ride will leads you to a minority village where we will enjoy a magical short walk to Tay minority village. Visit H’mong King’s house Hoang A Tuong - which was built in 1914 with French – Viet architecture and visit Pho village of Flower H’Mong People. Then transfer to Ha Giang, the journey through Sin Man and Hoang Su Phi with stunning landscape. Overnight in Ha Giang.
 
DAY 7: HA GIANG – DONG VAN 
After breakfast, drive to Dong Van plateau (155km) located at 1025m above the sea level inhabited by H’mong and Tay ethinc groups. Stop at Heavenly gate of Quan Ba before arriving at Yen Minh-a beautiful valley nested in the mountains and visit The most famous mountain in Quan Ba is Co Tien Mountain or Twin Mountain, known for its interesting natural shape of women breasts.
Walking through the Pho Bang town called by tourists “the town falling into the oblivion” inhabited by 
the Hoa and H’Mong people. Continue visit to the Palace of H’Mong King Vuong Chi Sinh which is a symbol of the past glory of the H’mong people built in 1914. Drive along small and winding roads to Lung Cu and enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way. On the top of Mount Dragon stands the octagonal Lung Cu National Flag Tower.Visit Dong Van night market and overnight in Dong Van.
 
DAY 8: DONG VAN - MEO VAC – CAO BANG
After breakfast, departure to Meo Vac located along the Chinese border, some of the most picturesque villages in the northern tip of Vietnam. After lunch, a scenic route will take you to the Ma Pi Leng Pass from where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Nho Que River. Stop for a while to see a river like a silky fillet looming in fog which brings tourists a pleasant sensation of a naturally romantic masterpiece. Take to the road arriving in Cao Bang town and overnight in Cao Bang.
 
DAY 9: CAO BANG – BAN GIOC – CAO BANG
In the morning we go to Tra Linh, an area far removed from everything industrial and loud. We hike up to some Tay traditional villages on the steep slopes. This morning set off on a scenic drive, of around 2 hours, north of Cao Bang to the beautiful Ban Gioc Waterfall. This picturesque, cascading waterfall is 53 metres high and has an impressive span of 300m. The unique landscape includes limestone karst formations which soar from the verdant rice paddies - the farmland of Tay, H'Mong and Dzao ethnic minority groups, drop by Pac Ngoi and Peng village. The night will be spent in Cao Bang town. 
 
DAY 10: CAO BANG – BA BE
In the morning, embark a little boat to cruise the emerald Ba Be Lake and soak in its sublime serenity and beauty. The surrounding mountains are covered with lush vegetation, home to diverse flora and fauna. Overnight at homestay in Pac Ngoi village. 
 
DAY 11: BA BE - HA NOI
After having breakfast, cycling to Hua Ma Cave – a biggest cave in Ba Be National park. Come back to homestay, take a rest and, free and easy until transferring back to Hanoi (220km), having lunch en route. Drop off at the hotel in Hanoi in the afternoon
 
DAY 12: DEPARTURE
Check out at 12:00. Transfer to airport for departure.
