Phan Thiet is about 200 km Northeast of Ho Chi Minh-city. It is a town of Binh Thuan province which is famous of white silky sandy beaches. It may not be as popular as other cities in Vietnam, but don’t let that fool you. Phan Thiet is a smaller but beautiful upcoming tourist destination that is worth a visit. Home to long stretches of palm fringed beaches and thriving local fishing communities, Phan Thiet is an ideal holiday destination for those looking to escape the bustling city life. Attractions in Phan Thiet are plentiful, ranging from geographical wonders, pristine beaches and mountain ranges to traditional fishing villages, colonial buildings, and pristine temples dating back as far as the 9th century. 

• Visit Poshanu Cham Tower, one of the most important relics of Cham culture in Central Vietnam. The Cham ruins are not just famous for its unique and sophisticated architectural patterns, but here is also a common place for cultural activities of Cham people.
• Explore Flying Yellow Sand Hills. It is seen as a one of a kind romantic desert that the Vietnam Record Book Center recorded. The name of Flying Sand Dunes is derived from some reasons, the main color of the dune is yellow, it was created by the secular iron mine which had been existing since over hundred years, and the shape of the Flying Sand Dunes is changing by hours, by days, by months with no specific shape. From the dunes, you can freely slide down just like flying the air as in the myth stories.
• Contemplate Fairy Stream, a photography hotspot in Phan Thiet and Mui Ne due to its dramatic landscape of reds, whites, oranges and pinks. Located 18 km northeast of Phan Thiet City, this geological formation is actually a water fissure nearby Rom Island that’s flanked by a mix of white and red sand dunes on one side while the other is an expansive field of verdant trees, blossoming flowers, and coconut palms.
