Overview

Phu Quoc Island boasts idyllic beaches, romantic sunsets, evergreen forests, and a serene atmosphere, making it an ideal holiday destination for travellers looking to escape bustling city life. There are plenty of diving and snorkelling opportunities around the island and you can even get your PADI certification here. You’ll be able to spot a variety of marine animals such as nudibranchs, cuttlefish, octopus, scorpion fish, various crustaceans, anemones, and moray eels. The water is calm, and clear, so it’s a great place for beginners.

Option 1: When coming to Mong Tay Island, do not forget to enjoy the “special” here, which is beautiful coral with shimmering color eye catching, surrounded by swimming small sea fish. The coral reefs are relatively shallow, so enjoy the scuba experience watching them without worrying about the high diving requirements. It is known that the coral ecosystem here is ranked the most in Vietnam in terms of abundance, along with various types of sea anemones.

Option 2: An Thoi Harbor is located at the southern tip of Phu Quoc Island, where the boat dock is moved between 15 small islands around the main island. An Thoi Port is also a paradise for you to enjoy sightseeing, swimming or diving. From the port, you can see the roof of the Catholic Church in the area as well as a part of the Dua Sea in the distance.
