MEKONG DELTA IN DEPTH: LIFE, CULTURE AND LOCAL EXPERIENCES

Walk along the village to enjoy the fresh air in the morning & arrive the local workshop to see how to make rice paper, coconut candy, pop-rice... Enjoy some sweets with a cup of hot tea.

Boat trip to visit the brick kilns where you can see how the local people create beautiful potteries from clay. Our boat will go along the floating village. We will see how to farm catfish on Mekong river. 

Also, we can visit Vinhlong market in the town. This is the best choice for you to take pictures of fish, shrimps, prawns, crabs, snakes, rice-field rats, tropical fruits, vegetables...Head to Can Tho. Dinner and Overnight in Can Tho.

Early depart for Cai Rang Floating Market, which is the first destination of the day for many of the Mekong Delta’s locals, who make their way to the Can Tho River to buy/sell local produce, almost them are fruits.

Transfer to Chau Doc. Lunch at local restaurant.

Visit Tra Su Bird Sanctuary – also known as Tra Su Cajuput Forest. Endowed with not only natural beauty but one of the area’s most peaceful spots which belongs to the national specialized forest system in Southern Vietnam, speacially by a motor-boat and a rowing sampan.

Dinner at local restaurant and Checkin hotel around evening.

Overnight in Chau Doc.

Check-out and take a visit to Phuoc Dien Pagoda, one of the extremely sacred temples in An Giang Province for peace and to admire the magnificent and splendid art works of An Giang land.

The Lady Temple – also known as Ba Chua Xu Temple, an ancient and solemn architecture that is located at the foot of Sam Mountain. The statue of Holy Mother has been “the oldest sandstone statue in Vietnam”, which has had “the most spiritual shirts”.

Transfer back to Saigon. Enjoy lunch on the way. Arrive in Saigon, end of services.
